My multi media "Gabrielle's Wrath" has been selected for this years Academy of Fine Arts awards. This piece constructed from layers and depths of wood, repurposed metals and copper, fire, and paint techniques is a large piece 1000mm x 700mm. Framed in a beautiful hand crafted copper frame. The inspiration came from witnessing catastrophic destruction from the wrath of Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023. The emotions it raised, the grief, the loss it brought to all of us.
